Meet Your Tutor
Hi, I’m Lisa, an experienced English and Drama tutor who is passionate about helping students succeed.
With over 10 years of tutoring experience, I support students at KS3, GCSE, A-Level, degree level, IELTS and ESL. I believe every learner is different, so lessons are always personalised, supportive and engaging.
My aim is to help students build confidence, develop strong writing and analytical skills, and approach their studies with greater clarity and enjoyment.
My teaching approach focuses on:

Qualifications & Experience
- MA – Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama
- BA (Hons) Drama & Theatre Studies (including Shakespeare and literature modules)
- 10+ years of professional tutoring experience
- Enhanced DBS checked
I also bring first-hand experience of GCSE and A-Level texts through professional theatre work, including work with new writing and performance practice.

- GCSE /A Level/ ESL / IELTS/ Adults : £40 per 55mins
- Dissertations: £45 per 55 min
Discounts available for block bookings
30 min, 45 min sessions also available.
GCSE Group sessions
English Language (Max 4 students):
- Thursdays 5-6pm GCSE Language (AQA - Paper 1 & 2): £20 per person
Year 10 & 11
Creative Writing & transactional (Max 8 students):
- Wednesdays 5-6pm: £20 per person
